Christopher Hannegan is a principal in PwC's Organization and Workforce Transformation practice, where he works with C-suite leaders and their organizations to execute business strategy, accomplish transformational change and shift cultures to be higher performing. He is part of the leadership team of the Katzenbach Center, PwC's global innovation and excellence center for organizational culture and behavior. His 28-year career has spanned in-house roles at Bayer, and management consulting firms and communications/PR firms, including Strategy& and Edelman.

At the global firm Edelman, he worked with companies to engage employees, design change initiatives and develop communications plans. He headed Edelman's Employee Engagement offering in the United States and played a key role in coordinating the offering globally. Christopher played a similar role at the management consulting firm Strategy& (now part of PwC), where he led teams and change management programs for Fortune 500 clients to help them improve the effectiveness of employee communications and increase overall levels of employee engagement, in particular during times of change and transformation.

He began his career at Bayer, one of the world’s largest chemical and healthcare groups, where, both in the United States and at global headquarters in Germany, he held various positions responsible for international employee communications, branding, mergers and acquisitions, identity change communications, media relations and advertising. He is highly proficient in German and operates comfortably across cultures and geographies. Christopher lives with his husband in Chicago.
